FUNCHAL (PORTUGAL), 15 February 2011 – Last Friday, 11th February, Mr. Giuseppe Luongo, President of Youthstream, Dr. Wolfgang Srb, FIM / CMS Director, the Youthstream heads of departments and the 2011 Motocross and SuperMoto Organizers gathered together in Monaco, Monte Carlo, to set the base of their cooperation for an exciting 2011 season.

Mr. Giuseppe Luongo shared the main changes for this season with all the attendees, emphasizing the new partnership with Monster Energy as the main sponsor of the Motocross series, which would help the Championships improve and would make the sport grow more worldwide following Youthstream’s plans. Besides, Youthstream’s President announced the imminent launch of MX-Life.tv, the new live streaming and video on demand (VOD) platform promoted by Youthstream and the importance of the incorporation of the European series in the Motocross World Championship venues. Moreover, Mr. Luongo expressed Youthstream’s commitment for the globalization of the sport, following the gentlemen agreement he has with all the official teams to make that happen in the upcoming future.

Youthstream is due to improve also the VIP operations in order to offer a better onsite experience for those who will be hosted in the VIP hospitalities throughout the 2011 season. The MX3 World Championship will adopt a new more exciting set up, incorporating also the Women’s Motocross World Championship.

On the other hand, Dr. Wolfgang Srb proudly expressed his satisfaction of the long-term partnership between FIM and Youthstream, which has been mainly based on respect and fairness, and his commitment to continue such strong relationship. Besides, Dr. Wolfgang publicly announced his desire for the season to start and enjoy the incredible racing and also wished all the parties all the best for the 2011.

This meeting was also the chance for Youthstream to present to the SuperMoto Organizers the dedicated department in charge of reinforcing and improving the current situation of the SuperMoto World Championship.

Throughout the meeting, Youthstream, FIM and Organizers expressed their will to be united in order to be a sole force and help the series grow. In fact, most of the organizers took advantage of the occasion to present their venues sharing their long tradition organizing Grand Prix events. From all sides there was positivism, thrill and commitment to make all the projects come true by improving last year’s achievements and bringing the sports to every single corner of the World.
