Turin (Italy), 3 December 2012 - The third edition of the FIM Gala Ceremony took place yesterday at the “Salle des Etoiles” of the Sporting, in Monte-Carlo (Monaco).

At the ceremony presented by motorcycling's most famous female TV face Suzi Perry, the 2012 FIM World Champions like Jorge Lorenzo, Max Biaggi, Marc Marquez, Sandro Cortese, Antonio Cairoli, Ryan Villopoto, Toni Bou, Antoine Meo, Pierre-Alexandre Renet, Chris Holder, Nikolai Kransnikov and many more talented riders were awarded by motorcycling legends such as Mary McGee, Jim Redman, Torsten Hallman, Dougie Lampikin, Kari Tianen, Hubert Auriol and Hans Nielsen.

Thomas Chareyre, 2012 FIM SuperMoto World Champion, was one of the stars of this unique event which also crowned and rewarded the positive racing season of the French rider.

During the ceremony FIM Rookie of the Year, FIM Woman of the Year, FIM Personality of the Year were also announced after having been voted by fans, media, riders, teams and industry over the previous weeks. The three awards went respectively to Tim Gasjer, Laia Sanz and Jorge Lorenzo.
