TURIN (Italy) April 12, 2012 - A few more days to the official start of Supermoto’s new season, Saturday 14 and Sunday 15 April, the new edition of the FIM Supermoto World Championship will open at the international circuit South Milano in Ottobiano, one of the best equipped track that will host Supermoto Grand Prix of Italy, organized by Youthstream Events in synergy with Pavia's kartodrome.
Two days of races and sports at top level which will involve the bestriders of the international scene, including Italian S1 class riders, such as Ivan Lazzarini from Pesaro (HM Honda), the policemen Christian Ravaglia (KTM Miglio ) and Massimo Beltrami (Honda TDS), Elia Sammartin from Vicenza (Suzuki Pergetti), Giovanni Bussei from Torino (SBD Union Bike Honda). Davide Gozzini (PMR H2O Aprilia) is also expected to return to race after the 2011 injury , and Teo Monticelli, 2011 UEM European Champion (Honda Freccia).
The most awaited among foreignriders,star of last year, will be the 2011 World Champion Adrien Chareyre really motivated and again aboard an Aprilia Team Fast Wheels. TheFrench riderwill have to contend the title not only with his brother Thomas Chareyre (TM Racing), but also with other big riders like the Finnish Mauno Hermunen (SHR) leader in International Series, the Slovenian Uros Nastran (Suzuki Lux Performance), the British Matthew Winstanley and the French Thierry Van Den Bosch (KTM Mtr).
A sport event of great value with an impressive organization to offer the best to the riders and the public.
This week-end there will also be the first round of UEM European Championship with many riders ready to battle. and the new Young Trophy reserved to young european riders under 23.
