Alfedo Bevilacqua the HM Honda Racing Team Manager introduced his team for 2012 at the Supermoto World Championship launch.

Ivan Lazzarini has now been confirmed and there will be two important new entries: Fabrizio Bartolini and Alexander Latyshev. The riders will compete in the S1 class, both in the Supermoto World Championship and in the International Series.

The winter training at Aragon in Spain had produced some great results which were reflected at the first round of the Supermoto International Series in Latina where Team HM Honda & Lazzarini finished on the podium, holding the red plate as the fastest Italian rider.

Bevilacqua commented "After the excellent results achieved in the 2011 World Championship & Italian Championship, our aims this year are to reconfirm the national title and try to win the World Championship that is currently the only title we have yet to win. I have trust in the new entry Bartolini, even with the high level of competitors he will face, I'm sure he will reach good overall results, his first appearance of the Russian Latyshev brings us closer to a nation, that, in the future will give so much to Supermoto.
